White Day

There’s no doubt that it is the women who get spoiled on Valentine’s Day here in the UK. Copious amounts of champagne, roses and chocolates are bought for us lucky ladies on February 14th, but what about the men?

Did you know that in Japan, White Day is widely celebrated one month after Valentine’s, on March 14th, when those gifts from Valentine’s Day are repaid back. I was contacted and asked whether I would like to celebrate White Day on behalf of New Look. I can relate to this idea of having a day solely for us ladies to repay our boyfriends/husbands/friends to show them how much we appreciate them and to make them feel special, after all Valentine’s Day is mainly marketed towards gifts for us women. And so, of course, I jumped at the chance.

Since my boyfriend was super happy about having a bow-tie to sport for our night at the ballet, I decided I would get him another bow-tie and shirt to wear on our future dates!

Look at how happy he was…

I am really pleased with the items and I’m sure my man will love them too!! Here are the items I picked:

Shirt & bow-tie from New Look*

Will you be giving the special man in your life a gift to celebrate White Day?
